In 2010, prior to the transition of the development of OpenOffice.org to the Apache Incubator, some of OpenOffice’s developers came together and formed a new group, The Document Foundation. With concerns that continued

development of OpenOffice.org would be stalled, The Document Foundation moved the project forward, and LibreOffice was born.

Like its sister program, LibreOffice provides users with a free, open-source alternative to Microsoft Office. And like OpenOffice, LibreOffice has the ability to run on Windows, Macintosh and Linux operating systems.

TOG Solutions has not only recognized the value of an additional MS Office alternative, we have added LibreOffice training to our programming available to organizations. In addition to standard training on all of LibreOffice programs, including Writer, Calc, Impress, Base, Draw and Math, TOG Solutions can customize any component of this training to suit your organization’s needs.

Services We Offer:

• Training (In-Person or Virtual): Training can be customized to serve your organization’s needs, and can be delivered virtual (via Zoom) or on-site (Note: Travel fees would incur extra costs for on-site training services). Cost per person: $99 (Discounts are available for groups of 10 or more).
• Documentation: Training materials, including user guides, job aids and quick reference guides, can be created and customized based on your organization’s needs. Included in training; standalone documentation development costs: $75/hour.
• Post-Training Support: Additional user support is available for clients who have been provided training and need extra assistance beyond what would be provided in training materials.
